After three consecutive nominations, Art Antic L’Alcora wins the National Handcrafts Award 2012
This award, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and Fundersarte (Spanish Foundation for the Handcrafs Innovation) implies a recognition at the highest level to a consolidated career in the field of contemporary handcrafts.
The technical and formal quality of its products, the exclusivity of designs and the high complexity of their large formats, as well as a constant adaptation to the market and a work of promotion and valorization of handicraft, have been key to make them deserve this important award.
Art Antic L`Alcora offers a wide variety of products, all under its identifying characteristic as ceramic craftspeople: hand-painted tiles of different formats, restoration of ancient tiles, made to order items such as signs or murals, Deco porcelain, ceramic sculptures, porcelain hex tiles and all of these adaptable to different styles, from rustic to avant-garde.
