More than 40 Spanish companies of the ceramic sector and related participate in the Coverings fair in United States.


From April 29 to May 2 Coverings Exhibition 2013 is taking place in the city of Atlanta, with the participation of 47 Spanish companies, mainly from the ceramic floor and wall tile sector, but also of natural stone, bathroom accessories and furniture and auxiliary industries. The vast majority of the Spanish representation comes from the province of Castellon, including major companies such as: Azteca, Plaza, Azulev, Keraben, Mármoles Serrat and Tau.

Coverings changes its headquarters to take place in Atlanta, once in 2012, this event took place in Orlando (Florida). In the last meeting the Spanish Pavilion counted with the participation of 42 companies and an area of over 1.600 sqm. The fair attracted 22.000 visitors in 2012, a figure significantly higher than the previous Edition (19%), celebrated in the city of Las Vegas.

ICEX organizes the participation of these companies in an Official Pavilion, in a key market for the Spanish exports, as it is the United States. Proof of this, according to ICEX data, is that in 2012 sales of Spanish ceramic in the United States increased 22.13 percent to reach 79,686 million Euros.
During the course of the event, and under the Official Pavilion, various promotional activities will take place, including a press conference for journalists specializing in design, interior design and architecture magazines, including a paper entitled "The complimentary Paradigm" on trends in the Spanish tile and a tour of a selection of Spanish companies participating in the Spanish space.

In addition, during the four-day celebration of this event, at the institutional booth a seminar will be held under the title of "Connect the dots", aiming to give information about the opportunities offered by the Spanish ceramic sector today as covering material in a context where consumer tastes are turning to unique, innovative and durable.

Wide Castellon ceramic sector participation at Mosbuild exhibition in Russia


Spain, the world leader in technological development, design and quality of service in the ceramic industry, travels to Russia, third destination of ceramic tile sales, with 60 companies to participate at MOSBUILD exhibition.

Year 2012 has been very positive for the ceramic tile industry, which has managed to ride out the bad times, once again, conquering the international markets, with an increase of the foreign sales by 10% worldwide.
  
Leading the way in innovation

The focus on differentiation and international expansion has led the Spanish ceramic tile industry to become a world leader in the implementation of programs of R & D and innovation, in order to provide end-users and professional with high value products to respond to new market needs.

Our country is a pioneer in digital printing or home automation application of tiles. The Spanish sector has also developed motion or weight sensors for use in public buildings and sidewalks.

Spanish industry also stands out for its innovative approach applied to sustainable energy development, with the so-called active surfaces, sustainable pieces that incorporate technology to positively influence the environment where they are installed.

Furthermore, according to the National Association of Frit, Ceramic Glazes and Colours (Anfecc), Spain is the world leader, thanks to investments in R &
D in the field of ceramic frits and glazes, surpassing Italy, a country traditionally pioneer in the manufacture of these products.

Russia, a gold mine for Spanish exports

The great economic potential, significant growth plans and the large number of urban projects have boosted Russia as a priority destination for Spanish exports of ceramic tiles. The major construction projects for the coming years open a range of opportunities for our industry and have generated significant demand for building materials. The largest country in the world means 7.9% of total Spanish ceramic tile sector exports.

This favorable context for the sector will be the scenario for 60 Spanish companies of ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment, which will participate at MOSBUILD exhibition, within the CERSANEX frame. The 18th meeting of this annual event will be held in Moscow between 16th and 19th April. The Spanish industry participation is supported by ICEX and Tile of Spain.

The Spanish Pavilion, which has an area of 2,400 square meters, will feature 55 companies belonging to the ceramic tile and subsidiary industries sectors and other 5 of bathroom equipment. The vast majority comes from Castellón province and many are Globbarea Virtual Fair participants such as Azteca, Azulev / Sanchis, Ceracasa, Encrypt, Colorker, El Molino, Fritta, Gaya Fores, Oset Group, Kerajet, Peronda, Saloni, Tau, Vives and Zirconium.
  
During the course of the event, in the framework of the Spanish Official Pavilion, various promotional activities will take place, such as a press conference for journalists from design, interior design and architecture magazines which will be held on April 16, or the "Tile Story" Awards ceremony on the 17th April, promoted by Tile of Spain.

Great fashion show by Peronda Ceramica and designer Juan Vidal in Kiev




The company invited 200 guests on the premises of one of its main customers in Ukraine, for a 'fashion show' of haut couture and ceramics

The link between Peronda Ceramica and fashion crosses borders, as has been shown recently in Kiev.
The facilities of Agromat in the Ukrainian capital city, one of the main customers of the tile company, have hosted an amazing show with the latest trends in haut couture and ceramics.

The company invited the talented fashion designer Juan Vidal, a participant in the latest Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week and member of the group Peronda Fashion Lab
This time, the Alicante designer showed in Kiev a choice of their fashion proposals in a catwalk before 200 professionals in architecture, interior design and the design invited by Peronda.

The main highlight in the fashion show were Candela prints that Peronda has translated into ceramic series of the same name of brand Peronda Museum, which was exposed to all the guests. Along with this model, the company showed the striking tile finishes Provence and Books.
