CERACASA: SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS WITH PHOTOCATALYTIC MATERIALS

The spanish company CERACASA participated in a panel about sustainable solutions with photocatalytic materials.

The meeting was held during this year’s edition of CONSTRUMAT fair in Barcelona (Spain). Fran Raya, Marketing and Product Director at CERACASA, delivered the paper “Photocatalytic Island in an Urban Environment”, a sustainable, real and proactive solution for reducing air pollution.

During the panel debate, members exposed the views, problems and scientific, constructive and political solutions to air pollution, a major problem in our cities. Participants analyzed the Photocatalysis applied to building materials as a solution to NOx air pollution.

CERACASA is a founding member of the Iberian Photocatalysis Association (AIF). AIF gathers companies from different sectors which provide photocatalytic building materials, as well as organizations and bodies with the aim to promote reduction of air pollution through proactive and sustainable systems.
