VIVES has opened its first shop in China, in an important city in the south of the country, Guangzhou. This new store is located next to the Olympic Sports Center, among the most exclusive shops and some of the main international brands.

It is made up by 190 square meters and boasts an original façade that introduces the brand in one of the most important ceramic shopping centres. This showroom, which displays only VIVES products, is a unique and innovative space with a great attention to detail.

The opening of the showroom took place on the 12th of June with more than 100 attendees including suppliers, clients and associates. With this new showroom VIVES aims to give the best possible service to its customers and differentiate itself in the biggest market in the world.

ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS BET ON DUNE CERÁMICA AT CASACOR TRADE FAIR

The spanish company Dune took part in the 25th Anniversary of  CasaCor Brazil, which took place in Santa Catarina last March. The most important people in the world of architecture and  decoration participated creating unique spaces, using articles for decoration and interior design.

In Brazil, Dune showed its huge potential collaborating with some professionals of the aforementioned sectors in the development of two spaces:

The prestigious architect Francine Faraco showed elegance and sophistication at her ambient, called "Living" by using Dune's "Nacar Natural  30x30 cm" on the main walls as well as on the ceiling.

On the other hand, Dune had the privilege to work with two other prestigious architects and designers, Luisa Carla Galitzki and Joao Aumond, from Studio D. They have used two of Dune references to tile their space called "Sala do Hobby da Família ". Our piece "Black Keops 30x60 cm" was used to coat walls on the spa area. On the floor, they used a technical porcelain piece called "Titan Gris 30x60 cm". With these two pieces they got an avant-garde and innovative ambient.

CERACASA: SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS WITH PHOTOCATALYTIC MATERIALS

The spanish company CERACASA participated in a panel about sustainable solutions with photocatalytic materials.

The meeting was held during this year’s edition of CONSTRUMAT fair in Barcelona (Spain). Fran Raya, Marketing and Product Director at CERACASA, delivered the paper “Photocatalytic Island in an Urban Environment”, a sustainable, real and proactive solution for reducing air pollution.

During the panel debate, members exposed the views, problems and scientific, constructive and political solutions to air pollution, a major problem in our cities. Participants analyzed the Photocatalysis applied to building materials as a solution to NOx air pollution.

CERACASA is a founding member of the Iberian Photocatalysis Association (AIF). AIF gathers companies from different sectors which provide photocatalytic building materials, as well as organizations and bodies with the aim to promote reduction of air pollution through proactive and sustainable systems.
