Children tile decoration with Cifre Play!

Decorating spaces for children has always been a challenge for the ceramic industry, that’s why Cifre Cerámica is launching Cifre Play!, a collection devoted entirely to kids. With this new collection, the ceramic tiles of Cifre Cerámica are filled with colours and children motifs, with ceramics that seek interaction with kids and that is willing to grow up with them.

Among the novelties brought by the new Play! collection by Cifre Cerámica we can find Circuit, hand drawn by artist Ester Gradolí, including classic racing cars to create and decorate children spaces.

The new series included in the new Play! collection allow us to create cheerful but durable spaces for children, able to withstand hours of play and mischief. Besides, this collection has pieces that can illuminate at night to help the kids fall asleep and what’s more, pieces can create a blackboard in a nursery or a playroom.

Cifre Play! was presented last week during CEVISAMA exhibition.

Azteca Ceramica presents its FC Barcelona football team ceramic tiles.

Azteca Ceramica and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement to create the first official collection of FC Barcelona football team ceramic wall and floor tiles. The world launch took place at Cersaie Exhibition 2012, the most important ceramics trade fair in the sector, held at the end of September.

The Spanish company Azteca reached an agreement with the club whereby images of the players as well as the club’s badge and other murals with group poses, will be produced in this new support system.
In total, two types of formats of floor tiles have been designed:  31 x 31 cm. in red body, and 45 x 45 cm. in porcelain tile. The pieces for wall tiles are in 30 x 60 cm white body.

Azteca has pioneered the introduction of football passion into the ceramic tile market. By incorporating the Barça team image in the manufacture of ceramic tiles, the company has covered the two giants of the Spanish League, since they already launched Real Madrid football team tile collection at the beginning of 2012.

The product is aimed at distinct markets, from the Club itself to the fans who wish to bring their passion into the tiles of their homes, not forgetting the fan clubs, hotels, restaurants or diverse types of businesses that wish to express their support for the Spanish team in an original and exclusive way.

Yugo and Faro series by Vives Ceramica: Making a difference

All collections should have at least one product which makes its range special and different. Yugo, part of the Bunker collection, plays this role making an instant impact with its vivid colours which are highlighted when placed together with the neutral base tiles named Faro.

This collection is especially interesting due to its appearance replicating aged wood that has been worn down by the elements, giving each piece an individual character. This helps give a warmth and vanguard look to any room where it is used in conjunction with the Bunker range.

Faro and Yugo are porcelain tiles and available in sizes of 14,4x89,3cm. The Timon and Cincel special pieces should also be highlighted as they help create even more originality.

A trip to the French Provence by Peronda Cerámica new series

The romantic tones from the French Provence take possession of bath, making a space where time goes by. The relaxing salmon colour from Avignon-R and the decorative country motifs offer us a pleasant trip to the Campagne: a place with no hurries, no prejudices, where everything moves in a natural way. It is a refuge for the daily stress where you manage the rules.

The combination capacity of the Provence Collection is almost infinite. With Digne-B model, we can integrate any element that will be enhanced thanks to its delicate sparkles. In this case, the room is completed by the warm tones of the Antigua-R wood.

Stone and wood natural textures, the latest trend in ceramic tiles by Cifre Group

Textures: stone
Ceramics have achieved an awesome level of mimesis. Almost every texture or print can be imitated perfectly by ceramics, giving us thousand of decoration possibilities.
Scale collection from Cifre Ceramica creates stone mosaics with a quite realistic and natural effect.
Timber is a natural collection too; it has big sized pieces which represent nature through its perfect textures.
Terraces or outdoors can be ideal for the Teide series. Its mosaics represent bigger stones than the Scale series, making it better for wider spaces.

Ceramics textures: wood
If you want a material that imitates wood perfectly but that is more resistant and easier to clean and maintain, you need ceramics. It can be hard to imagine, but Woodmotion series has a richly detailed texture, which brings an amazing realism.
Moabi collection has a real wood look both for floor and wall tiles
This collection has different colors to create warm and personalized spaces in your home.
You can find more series which imitate textures at www.grupocifre.com

Peronda Ceramica in the heart of Madrid and Valencia Fashion Weeks

With Juan Vidal at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid

The designer Juan Vidal presented on Sunday the 2nd of September his new spring / summer 2013 collection in the former Lamarca carriage factory in the center of Madrid, which gathered more than 220 guests. Designed by Peronda Ceramics, the catwalk was made of ceramic tiles with the collection patterns, which along with the lighting and vintage furniture by Francisco Segarra created a unique environment to present "Candela ".

The black, yellow, orange and red mix with multicolored print. Opulent details of embroidered glass flowers and raffia sunflowers enriched with hand embroidery.
The outfit was completed by black maxi bags with big bows and high heels in leather and multicolored print, plus necklaces and bracelets adorned with flowers in glass and metal finishes.

Among the guests, alongside actor Jesus Olmedo, actress Noelia Garmendia. Lola Marceli and singer Sara Vega were also supporting the brand, as well as actress Tania Llasera.

This project has had the entire PERONDA group fully engaged, because everybody has been working with great enthusiasm so that the Juan Vidal catwalk in Zone Off at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid was a success.
The constant collaboration, exchange of ideas and the use of a common language has resulted in a ceramic model presented in premiere as the basis for PERONDA.

The great attendance of media, excellent critique of the specialized media and the warm welcome from the audience to Candela, are evidence that the hard work and perseverance pays off in all sectors and, once again, PERONDA becomes the trendy alternative in the ceramic sector.

"Formentera" by Peronda @ Valencia Fashion Week

Quality, creativity and avantgarde are three of the reasons why Valencia Fashion Week, held from the 13th  to 15th  September, has become a must visit destination for fashion lovers, and that is why PERONDA CERAMICAS never misses the appointment.

As usual, the brand contributed his bit to the aesthetic proposals of the event: PERONDA placed a piece of Formentera amid the vilage of Valencia Fashion Week. The typical 70's Volkswagen van along with ceramic models of sophisticated hippie aesthetics: Mediterranean prints, jean fabrics, English flags... the summary of a lifestyle that you can now bring inside our home.

Vives Ceramica tiles in national and international architecture projects

Over the recent months Vives Ceramica has dressed with its products interesting construction projects nationally and internationally. Hotels, restaurants, spas and designer apartments have relied on the design, versatility, style and performance of the newest ceramic coverings by Vives to coat walls, floors, façades and common areas.

At the elegant Hotel Barceló Albatros in Majorca the project has managed to create spaces that are formal whilst maintaining a modern twist. One of the products selected has been the new ceramic wood Kinda Natural in the 60x60 format used to dress the floor helping it to give the area a VIVES personality.

In Mollet del Vallés (Barcelona) the centre Nya Spa y Bellesa has chosen the ceramic wood series Orsa to cover floor and walls with the sole objective of creating a relaxed atmosphere.

The vegetarian and rural hotel “La Fuente del Gato” located in a village in Madrid, has relied on Vives Pergola floor range 14x28cm, and the 1900 series 20x20 to personalize its spaces. VIVES floor tiles emphasise the building's artistic character. This hotel prides itself on offering a personal service, based on warmth and comfort within its facilities.

Another hotel that han chosen Vives products is the Kadrit in Zaragoza. The aim is to provide an unforgettable and relaxing stay and this has been helped with the use of one of its porcelain floor tile collections, Exedra 60x120 cm, and combining mosaic. Its expression to the beauty of stone helps captivate the public.

At international scale, Vives Cerámica boosts its presence in Macedonia with the participation in two projects: on one hand, the refurbishment of the Metropolitan Lounge Restaurant, one of the most vibrant bars to visit in Skopje. Stone Design team of architects and interior designers selected the Kenion 60x60 porcelain tile to cover the floor spaces around bars and counters. For the bathrooms they chose the Güell series 20x20 of gres 1900 Collection. On the other hand, Vives has also participated in the avant-garde design of a singular flat. The porcelain range Atalaya wall tiles 8,1x41,5cm were used in the living room.

Another important project is the Cosmopolite Hotel in Kiev (Ukraine) where the Hypnos collection has been chosen. The format used was a highly polished 43.5x43.5cm porcelain tile to reflect the interior light and to consolidate a space with harmony.

These national and international projects are an excellent bridge to promote Vives Ceramica new trends and applications

THE SPANISH COMPANY CERAMICA SALONI MANTAIN ITS COMMITMENT TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT WITH LAMMAX MATERIAL

Cerámica Saloni, a spanish leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of ceramic coatings, carried a perfect combination of engineering, architecture, design and technology in the Pulpí Health Center in Spain, with the use of its revolutionary LAMMAX material.

The system chosen for the closing of the center has been the ventilated façade with 3x1 sheets with holes to let the light inside. It can be used in building exterior, interior and furniture; among the features of Saloni LAMMAX, highlights the resistance to weathering, chemical attack, fire and high temperatures, UV rays, to bending or deep abrasion.

LAMMAX is a very versatile material that can be layered with other materials and in different formats, with extreme precision and polish.

The plates can be adapted to the needs of format, size and corresponding surface. So it allows to carry out any architectural project, unlike traditional ceramics. It fits very easily and the cost is lower than other materials used in construction.

TAU Group’s S3 CREATES “ONNES”, THE MEDITERRANEAN URBAN TERRACE

Through the combined efforts of S3 TAU and Carmen Baselga_Studio workshop, a new concept of URBAN TERRACE has been born, pushing forward the development of integrated solutions for public and private urban spaces.

S3 TAU created this product to solve the problems created by uneven and irregular surfaces, thus allowing the utilization of urban spaces and terraces previously unusable or only usable with considerable difficulty. Also incorporated within the product is CIVIS’ TERMIA technology, permitting the creation of heated outdoor spaces.

This outdoor environment is completed not only by tables whose touch sensitive ceramic surface allows one to, amongst other things, keep plates warm or call the waiter simply by touching the table surface; but also through the integration of vegetation into the environment, both vertically and via covered surfaces.

Thanks to the advantages provided by the S3 TAU WAYTEC SYSTEM, specialists in environmental design will be able to create urban terraces and rooftop areas that are eminently usable, warm and comfortable, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

The TAU Group’s S3 – Smart Surface Systems – division specialises in using innovative solutions for the living environment to improve quality of life. These solutions are developed based upon the premises of Design for All or People-Oriented Design, so that the user is a key part of all projects

The Spanish tile company PERONDA summoned more than 400 architects, interior designers and designers to an event in St. Petersburg around art, fashion and ceramics.

Imagination, art, design, fashion and differentiation are five values that in recent years have characterized all public events organized by Peronda in Spain and abroad. Under this premise, the manufacturer has excelled himself with an exclusive event that took place at Taleon Club Hotel in St. Petersburg (Russia).

The meeting was attended by over 400 architects, interior designers and designers who enjoyed an evening full of surprises.
